A process-driven workplace shaped to reflect the identity of a waste-to-energy startup.

This office for SAAF Biogas Ltd. was envisioned as a bright, brand-led workplace that reflects innovation, sustainability, and clarity — core values aligned with the company’s identity and sector. The spatial language, color palette, and material choices were directly derived from the brand colors, translating them into a functional, human-centered office environment.
The ceiling plane becomes a key identity surface, finished in a bold teal drawn directly from the SAAF brand palette. This strong overhead color anchors the space and creates immediate recall, while the walls and storage remain neutral in warm whites and light wood textures to maintain balance. The patterned flooring introduces movement and rhythm using muted greens and greys, tying the brand colors back at ground level without overwhelming the workspace.
The most defining architectural move was a full spatial reconfiguration. The original plan consisted of multiple enclosed rooms and fragmented circulation. We strategically demolished several internal walls and introduced new partitions to reorganize the footprint into a more fluid, open office layout. This allowed for improved daylight penetration, clearer sightlines, and more collaborative work zones while still retaining enclosed cabins and meeting areas where privacy was required.
The open workstation bay runs along the window edge to maximize natural light and visual comfort. Linear desks with glass tops and light-toned storage keep the visual weight low, while integrated planters act as soft dividers — reinforcing the company’s green-energy ethos and improving indoor air quality and employee wellbeing.
Glass-partitioned cabins and meeting rooms maintain transparency and openness across departments while controlling acoustics. Custom lighting — including sculptural pendants and brand-forward signage elements — adds character and layered illumination across task, ambient, and accent needs.
A central waiting and breakout zone is softened with curved built forms and integrated greenery, contrasting the linear workstation layout and creating a more welcoming front-of-house experience.
Overall, the design translates SAAF Biogas Ltd.’s brand identity into a spatial experience — open, fresh, sustainable, and collaborative — achieved through targeted demolition, strategic wall additions, and a cohesive color-driven design language.
