Reims Drive Residence

A contemporary residential environment shaped through spatial planning and interior design.

Henderson, Nevada | 7,550 sq ft | Spatial Planning & Interior Design

This project explores the spatial planning and interior design of a contemporary villa located in Henderson, Nevada. The design draws inspiration from the clean architectural language and refined material palettes often associated with homes by Blue Heron, while establishing a cohesive interior environment tailored to the scale of the residence. The planning emphasises fluid connections between the primary social spaces of the house, allowing the kitchen, dining, and living areas to function as a continuous and adaptable environment. Strategic spatial interventions improve circulation and strengthen the relationship between key living zones.

A restrained palette of neutral finishes, warm wood accents, and soft textiles establishes a calm and balanced interior atmosphere. Carefully coordinated materials and tones ensure visual continuity throughout the home, creating a cohesive design language across its expansive footprint. Lifestyle-focused spaces such as the home gym, bedrooms, and guest suites are conceived as distinct environments within the larger residence. Darker tones and integrated storage define the gym area, while the bedrooms adopt softer textures, sculptural lighting, and curated furnishings to establish a more intimate and relaxed setting.

The design process involved multiple spatial studies and iterative refinements supported by an integrated digital workflow that coordinated layouts, visualisations, and material development across several platforms. The result is a residence defined by clarity in planning, continuity in material expression, and a balanced relationship between openness and comfort.
