RADHIKA MORE
A curated bridal studio designed to celebrate craftsmanship and occasion wear.
Pune, India | 2,100 sq ft | Design + Build
Radhika More is conceived as a bridal retail studio where the experience of selecting garments becomes calm, personal, and immersive. The project includes both the exterior facade and interior design of the boutique, creating a cohesive identity from the street to the retail environment within.
The flagship store announces itself with quiet confidence. Designed to feel contemporary yet grounded, the façade sets the tone through a balanced composition of warm wooden textures, clean architectural lines, and layered greenery. Rather than seeking attention, it creates a sense of pause—an intentional threshold between the street and the experience within. The entry feels calm and inviting, offering a subtle preview of the restrained design language that continues inside.
Stepping in, the retail floor unfolds as a space defined by clarity, movement, and ease. Clean lines and soft arches guide circulation, creating a natural flow that feels intuitive rather than directed. A neutral material palette allows the interiors to breathe, ensuring that the bridal collections remain the visual focus. While the layout accommodates three structural columns, they have been thoughtfully integrated into the architecture, blending seamlessly into the design so they read as intentional elements rather than constraints. The result is a retail floor that feels open, balanced, and timeless.
The first floor reveals how a few carefully considered interventions can transform both experience and function. What was earlier a dark display ledge—often affected by water ingress due to an untreated façade—has been replaced with a large French window. This single change introduces generous natural light and ventilation, dramatically altering the mood of the space and enhancing its usability throughout the day.
Flooring plays a key role in defining zones without fragmenting the interior. Warm wooden finishes mark customer-facing areas, lending comfort and softness, while durable tiles are used where functionality takes precedence. The transitions are subtle, ensuring the space reads as one cohesive environment rather than a series of separated parts.
Equally integral to the design is storage—planned not as an afterthought, but as a core component of the retail experience. Each unit was custom-designed to balance display with concealed storage, keeping the shop floor calm, adaptable, and easy to operate. This approach allows the space to evolve with changing collections while maintaining visual order.
Together, the façade and interiors form a composed and enduring flagship—one that prioritizes flow, light, and functionality, while providing a serene architectural backdrop for the brand’s bridal narrative to unfold.
