CONCEPT & CIRCULATION

In 2021, Gauchestud.io was selected from a pool of 50+ applicants to re-structure, re-design, and combine two adjacent sea-facing apartments situated in Chennai, India. Vastu and the existing structural layout played an important role in arriving at the final layout of the apartment. We faced several challenges as un-recorded structural components were discovered during the process of demolition - the final design too had to adhere to the same.
